Hardened PU foam should be protected against UV exposure by painting over or sealing with e.g. silicone, polyurethane, acrylic or MS polymer.
Insulation, assembly and foam filling of window and door frames and windowsills, foam filling of cavities such as wall openings, roof finishings, door casings, pipe ducts or roller shutter boxes.
The adhesion surfaces must be clean, dry and load-bearing. Slight moistening of the surface improves adhesion and hardening, as well as the cell structure of the foam. Screw the can tightly onto the thread of the pistol and shake the pistol well around 30 times so that the can contents are mixed and an optimal foam quality is achieved. Adjust the foam bead with the setting screw and spray the foam out using the trigger. Only fill joints and cavities up to a third as the foam will expand. Cut off any excess, fully hardened foam with a knife.
