See Würth classification report 13-03140-2a when sealing fire rated linear joints. The hardened foam must be protected from UV radiation by a layer of plaster, silicone or paint.

Sealing of vertical joints in solid walls (thickness over 200 mm) in accordance with classification report 13-03140-2a.
Read the safety data sheet before use. The application surface must be clean and free from grease and dust. Moisten the surface with water. To apply the foam, hold the can with the valve down. For quicker and more uniform curing, moisten again with water.
